FROM RED TO WHITE

After exploring all color possibilities with our previous homes, we have decided to resort to the most timeless “color” there is.. WHITE. The majority of our home is going to be painted white simply because you really cannot go wrong with the soothing color and it makes everything FRESH again. We have had yellow walls and chocolate ceilings, tomato red kitchen cabinets, green walls, you name it. This time we’re sticking with white including the art studio which I plan to have a backdrop for lots of bright, juicy colors.  The dormers are already painted as well as the outermost column and it already complements the house. The white paint will completely transform the look of the older house into a more modern, clean look. The shutters have also been installed but will be painted the same as the accent color. Ironically enough, our painter’s name is actually “Red” (pictured). His company is Red’s Professional Painting and his contact information can be found

The dormers are already painted as well as the outermost column and it already complements the house. The white paint will completely transform the look of the older house into a more modern, clean look. The shutters have also been installed but will be painted the same as the accent color. We are matching a soft, tan standard color on the low maintenance vinyl inserts that will go in next week. Ironically enough, our painter’s name is actually “Red” (pictured). His company is Red’s Professional Painting and his contact information can be found here. I would highly recommend his services if you live in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area. He has been absolutely amazing. Tune in next week as the windows are being replaced, giving him the opportunity to zip across the glass in high-speed mode with his powerful sprayer.

We are also extremely excited to rid the home of the yellow color that was once a popular color of yesterday and replace it with white trim. We are also installing new windows that are vinyl. The vinyl windows are low maintenance and will add a beautiful accent to the white house. However, we aren’t exactly accustomed to the all white home. We have never actually primarily chosen white paint. I’m sure there will be something inside the house painted a bizarre color due to my artistic nature. What do you guys think of all white? Leave a comment and let us know if you prefer white, or do you have a different color preference? Stay tuned for more information as we post weekly about our house updates!

First off I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask
if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your
thoughts before writing. I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any suggestions or hints? Appreciate it!

Thank you so much, we really appreciate your support! To honestly answer your question I would say I usually try to not clear my thoughts before writing. I pretty much just type whatever comes to mind without worrying about errors and then I go back through and correct whatever mistakes/omissions are necessary. Usually I find that if I take the stress and pressure out of it and just write for myself I am usually more pleased with the finished product. Please let me know if this helps at all 🙂 Thank you so much for supporting and I appreciate your question!
